Mint Leaves: Mint naturally has salicylic acid which keeps acne issues at bay. It deep cleanses the pores, clears away dead skin cells, excess sebum, and bacteria from the clogged pores. It also leaves a soothing and refreshing effect on your skin. When applied topically, mint leaves will brighten your complexion, fades pigmentation and blemishes because of its antibacterial properties. Not just that, mint is treated as a mild astringent which can be used to tone and rejuvenate your skin.
Lemon: Lemons are rich in Vitamin C, so they help to lighten and brighten your skin. Furthermore, lemons contain antioxidants which can neutralize free radicals and boost collagen production.
Things You’ll need:
- A few mint leaves
- 1/2 Lemon
- Spray bottle
How to prepare
- Firstly, take 10 stems of Mint leaves and wash them thoroughly to remove dirt.
- Now, boil a concoction of mint leaves in a pan until the yellowish-green color is obtained with a herbal fragrance.
- Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
- Then strain the liquid so as to separate leaves and the liquid using a strainer.
- To the strained liquid, squeeze half a lemon juice and mix both the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Finally, transfer the mixture into a spray bottle or any container to use it for future use.
