DIY Aztec Bentonite Clay Face Masks
1. Bentonite and ACV
What you’ll need:
- Bentonite Clay – 1tbsp
- Apple cider vinegar – 1tsp
- Water
How to use
- Mix a few drops of ACV and Bentonite clay together into a smooth paste by adding some water
- If you’ve extremely sensitive skin, dilute ACV in water and then mix it with bentonite clay
- Blend the mixture until no lumps are formed
- Apply the prepared mask all your face and neck evenly
- Leave it on for about 20 to 25 minutes or until it dries up
- Cleanse your face, pat dry, and apply a gentle moisturizer
2. Bentonite and Yogurt
What you’ll need:
- Aztec (bentonite) clay – 1tbsp
- Yogurt – 2tbsp
- Tea tree essential oil – few drops
How to use
- In a bowl, mix Aztec Indian healing clay (Bentonite Clay) and yogurt well
- To the mixture add a few drops of Tea tree essential oil (preferably 2 or 3 drops)
- Combine all the ingredients together until a smooth paste is formed
- Apply the mask on your entire face and neck evenly and leave it on for 15 minutes
- Then wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry
- Finally, apply a gentle moisturizer
3. Bentonite and Rosewater
What you’ll need:
- Aztec (bentonite) clay – 1tbsp
- Rosewater – 2tsp
- Kasturi Turmeric – a pinch
How to use
- Combine the bentonite clay, Kasturi turmeric, and a few drops of rosewater in a bowl
- Mix all the ingredients until well combined
- Apply the face mask on your face and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes
- Later, scrub off gently after the mask dries up
- Wash off and apply a good moisturizer
- Repeat this treatment once every week to get rid of dead cells, dirt, and get glowing skin
